friday fives

this weeks friday fives over at beth's blog, just me and my life, are 5 favorite websites..

1. blogger
come on. you knew this was going to be one! i kind of wish i had a blog my whole life so i could look back on what i did. maybe not my whole life, but from when i got pregnant on. i'm just glad i've been able to keep this one going! and i've loved meeting lots of new people!

2. facebook
oh how i love facebook. i can sit on there for hours. well, maybe not hours. that would be a little much. but i can definitely sucked into it. i usually just browse it on my phone. i've been able to find people that i haven't talked to in a while and catch up. it's pretty nifty!

3. imdb
internet movie database. i get on this at least once a day. i'll see someone in a show and know i've seen them somewhere else, and so i'll get on imdb.com and look it up! i have the app on my iphone, so it's even easier. and if anyone asks "who's that?" about a tv show, i'll just look it up real quick. i'm a geek :)

4. shop ruche
i recently discovered this website, and i love it! i haven't ordered anything yet, but i'm going to...eventually. they have a lot of cute stuff, and it's reasonably priced. so now you can go shop and be addicted. you're welcome.

5. twitter
twitter really confused me at first, but once i got the hang of it i started to love it! and i still do. i love the app on my iphone. it's so fun to follow different people (and celebrities). and i can update it with pointless things i'm doing throughout the day!

friday fives

this weeks friday fives over at beth's blog, just me and my life, are 5 things you miss about being a kid.

1. playing sports
i used to play softball, soccer, and basketball. it was so much fun because i got to play with all of my friends. and the park is right across from my moms house so i didn't have to go far for practice and games!

2. music
ok, i totally miss the music of my childhood. you know, nsync, britney spears, backstreet boys, christina aguilera. and even more. i remember singing in the car at the top of my lungs (not that i don't still do that). it was fun when my friends were in the car. i'm sure it wasn't much fun for the driver though :)

3. sleep
it seems like i got a whole lot more sleep as a kid. i was never tired. why can't it be that way now?? guess that's why we have caffeine!

4. board games
i really miss playing board games (yes, i know i can still play them. but it's not the same). i remember playing them a lot as a kid. i loved life and scattergories. i loved when my cousins came to visit because we'd always play games. we'd mainly play scrabble, and i would lose. but it was ok because it was still fun! and they were older so they were smarter (that's my excuse).

5. no worries or responsibilities
aside from worrying about my outfit for the middle school dance, and having to make my bed in the morning, i didn't really have any responsibilities and worries when i was a kid (at least compared to the worries and responsibilities i have now). it's hard to remember a time without responsibilities and worries! it's ok though. we all have to grow up sometime. and now i can watch addison in her carefree days :)

i had so much fun participating in friday fives over at beth's blog, just me and my life, last week that i decided to do it again this week!!

1. if you could be on a show(talk show, game show...) which one would you pick?
ok, this may sound weird, but i would definitely be on wheel of fortune. it's my favorite game show ever!! and i would win lots of money, cause i'm so good at it!! :)

2. what was your first job?
my first job was at the dollar general market when i was 16. i don't even remember why i decided to work there.

3. what's one of your guilty pleasure?
moose tracks ice cream. or brownies and ice cream. if we have moose tracks or brownies in the house, i usually can't resist. that's why i try to not have it in the house that often! but both are delicious.

4. would you ever vacation alone?
i really don't know if i would. i think it would be fun to go somewhere by myself, but i don't think i'd like to be alone for that long. maybe i'd go somewhere where i knew someone, but i wouldn't stay with them or do lots of things with them. it would just be comforting to know that i knew someone where i was.

5. democrat, republican, or independent..or maybe even green party (whatever that is)?
i don't really get into politics, but the views that i do have lean towards the democrat party. so, i'd have to say i'm a democrat!

1. underwater camera

this just looks cool. it would be really cool when addison gets older and actually does a lot of swimming.

2. white iphone 4

once it comes out, i'm getting it. although who knows when it's coming out. it was supposed to come out the end of this month, but it has been pushed back again. they haven't said why it's harder to make the white one, but hopefully they get it figured out soon! i love my iphone and can't wait to upgrade to the new one!

3. aviators

my mom and i went sunglass shopping (for her, not me) and i decided that i really need want a pair of aviators. and i love this pair (they're ray bans).

4. boots

i know it's still summer, and really hot outside. but i think i'm going to begin my search for a pair of good boots. i really wish i had some last winter, but i could never find any that i liked (and were in my price range). i like this pair, but they are WAY out of my price range. guess i'll keep looking!

5. louis vuitton

i bought my first louis vuitton for my 18th birthday. i bought the speedy 30. i love it!

if i had a money tree, i would go out and buy this one. i have a thing for big purses, and this would be great because my laptop would fit in it. and some.
