well, this may not be her wishlist, but it's things that i think she would like. i got her a few of these things, and others are still possibilities (the uggs are more like something i wish i could get her).

2 year appointment

yesterday was addison's 2 year well visit. it went great! we haven't been since her 18 month well visit in may, so i consider us lucky!

we got there a little early and there was no one in the waiting room. score! one little boy and his mom got there a few minutes after we did, but we were called back just a few minutes after that so it wasn't bad at all!

here are addison's stats:

she weighs 26 lbs 12 oz (55th percentile) up 3 lbs 9 oz from last time,

she's 33 3/4 inches tall (50th percentile) up 1 3/4 from last time,

and her head is BIG (again)...19 1/2 inches (90th percentile) up 1/2 from last time.

the doctor said she looks great! she's growing great and doing everything that she should. we were only concerned about her pooping, but i won't go into any details about that. you're welcome.

she had to get 2 shots, and of course she cried. but less than a minute later she was saying "boo boo" and making me kiss her leg. she's such a big girl. i'm a wimp when i get shots.

we have to go back in 4 weeks to get a follow up shot, and then we don't go back for a well visit until she's 3. i can't believe we're at the point where she only goes back once a year. she's getting so old!! ha!

hanging ornaments

so i'm a little late getting these pictures up. a few days after thanksgiving, we put the trees up! i didn't really help much because i've been so busy with school. it makes me sad, but i was able to help some! addison has some new ornaments. since she's obsessed with mickey and elmo, my mom got her an ornament of each!

this is the first year addison was able to hang ornaments. it was pretty funny because she'd go hang it and then take a step back, then take it off and hang it somewhere else. i don't think she understood that it was supposed to stay in one place.







and then i tried to take a cool picture while i was hanging ornaments.


oh, and i'm going to post the last elmo tutorial (how to make the shirt and bow) this week! sorry to keep you waiting.

almost done

after today, i only have 1 more day of class. then comes exams. joy.

i just hope i make it through today. i had 2 big papers due (which have been printed/emailed). so i don't have to worry about those, but i have to do a presentation for both. luckily it's a group thing, so i won't be up there all by myself.

but let me just say this. i stink at public speaking. or at least i think i do. i always get so nervous. ugh. no fun at all. i'm nervous now. but i have my notecards ready and i think i know my stuff. the first presentation is during my first class (entrepreneurship) and the second is during my third class (management). i'm hoping we can go first in both just so i can get it over with. i hate sitting there and waiting, knowing i'm going to have to present.

3:15 can't come fast enough. but i'm sure i'll survive. then after that, i'll have to finish up my last project that's due next week and start studying for exams. exciting, huh? i'm definitely looking forward to christmas break but i'm already not looking forward to next semester.

don't get me wrong. i love school. just not so much some of the classes. especially not the work. but you gotta do that you gotta do, right?
