addison swimming - the video

i took addison swimming a little while ago at my friend maria's house. she has one of those flip videocameras and she recorded addison swimming.

she put a little video together with all of the good parts. this was the first time i put those little floaties on addison, and i thought she did really well! she did try to drink the pool water, and sometimes she'd inhale some and cough. we went swimming at maria's again this weekend and she did a lot better in her floaties.

chuck e cheese's

we took addison to chuck e cheese's for the first time yesterday. i was kind of dreading it because i thought it would be really crowded, but it wasn't. it was a lot of fun! addison loved it.

we got there and ordered a pizza for lunch, then addison played until it was ready.



she seriously loved barney. she would run to that ride every time. i think she rode it no less than 8 times.






we started eating out pizza, and addison saw chris dip his in ranch dressing. she started whining and reaching for the ranch, so chris dipped some of her bites in the ranch and she loved it. she ended up snatching the ranch away from him and dipping her pizza in it. it was so cute, and quite messy.










she eventually started dipping her pizza in the ranch and just licking the ranch off. i think she was full but still wanted to eat some ranch.

after she finished her lunch, we went and played some more!



she loved this horse ride. she got so excited every time it would jump up.






we still have some tokens left, so we're going to have to back. i really don't mind though! it was really nice being able to take her somewhere inside since it's been so hot here lately. i can't believe i'm saying this, but i actually like chuck e cheese's!

sonic baby

i'm a very sharing person. ha. i just laughed. that's not all that true. but i do share with addison.

since she learned how to drink out of a straw, she loves it. if anyone has a drink with a straw, she wants some.

so now that's she's such a big girl, we got her a sonic slushie the other day. and she loved it. i didn't get any pictures from that day, but we got her a cream slush this weekend and she loved it even more.

she was really good about sitting with it and not running around. i was scared she would make a big mess if she ran around with it (she falls a lot).



she saw me moving my straw around in my drink so she copied me.











she looks like such a big girl drinking her own sonic drink. and she threw a fit when i took it away from her. i don't see how she didn't get a major brain freeze while she was drinking it.

at least she's like her momma and loves sonic!

another day at the pool

this past weekend was HOT.

saturday we spent a lot of time at the pool. being in the water doesn't make it bad to be outside. but i don't think i could have been outside and not been in the pool.

addison played in her float for a while, but then she started trying to drink the water. so we decided to take a drink break.



after she had some juice, she was ready to swim some more.



i love her face in this next picture. i'm guessing she got some water in her face or something. she wasn't really into me trying to get her to kick her feet. i forgot her little floaties so she wasn't able to swim by herself.


i'm so glad addison loves the pool. we've been to the pool a lot already, and i'm hoping we continue!!

100!!!

i just saw that i've reached 100 followers!!

yay!!!

i really never thought i would reach 10 followers, so 100 is just amazing! i started this blog hoping that i may have a few followers along the way, but i never expected to have this many. and i never expected to make blog friends! it's really been so much fun and i'm excited to continue blogging and making more blog friends!
