potty and big girl bed

i have been such the slacker.

i'm really going to try and be better. school has just been a lot this semester. i won't bore you when that. maybe in another post :)

so, addison is potty training now. we've been at it for about a week now, and she has some on and off days. we're trying pullups, and she seems to like them.

she doesn't really tell me when she needs to potty, so we're trying to work on that. i'll just sit her on the potty every so often and sometimes i get lucky.

we also got a travel potty. i've only used it a couple of times, but it's made traveling and having to go potty so much easier.

addison is also in a big girl bed now!! my mom got a twin bed frame, so we put that together about a week and a half ago while she was at mdo. my mom got a headboard and footboard, but those need to be painted so we just have the bed frame for now.

she has been doing fabulous in it!! she hasn't figured out how to escape yet (knock on wood). her bed is in the corner, so we only have to use 1 bed rail.

she seems to love being in a big girl bed! and i like it too because i can crawl in bed with her in the morning to wake her up :)

and it means i get to redecorate her room a bit. still working on that though. i'll post pictures when it's done (if that ever happens).

oh wow. i don't even remember. it's been forever.

i took pictures the other night when i went out with my friends. but just on my phone.

um no. gross.

my purse is full of change, and i don't really do anything with it. i just let it sit there.

no. i'm not that talented.

nope. i always wanted to, but i kind of see this blog as a digital scrapbook.

i've bought a few, but not recently. i guess i can't say i hope i win the lottery when i don't even buy tickets!

a little of both.

i don't really eat sundaes. is that weird?

i used to wear slippers all the time, but i don't anymore. i usually just wear socks.

nope.

listening to music or working out.

the foot book is one of mine and addison's favorites. addison really loves there's a wocket in my pocket too.

i did when i was younger.

the thesaurus. definitely.

doing circuits.

{ten} what’s the longest you’ve ever waited in line?
i'm really not sure. i'm not a fan of waiting in line, so it probably wasn't very long.

zoo days

my mom signed addison up for a few weeks of classes at the zoo. they're on thursdays while i'm in school, so my mom gets to take her and have some addison/gigi time. they get to color, read books, sing songs, and meet animals!

this past week, since i was on spring break, i got to join them! it was really fun. my mom isn't able to take many pictures when she goes by herself because addison wants to sit with her the whole time, but since i was there, i could take some pictures!











it was cold and kind of rainy that day, so the zoo was pretty dead. we walked around outside for a minute after class, but we didn't stay long. addison loves the monkeys, so she wanted to go see them. unfortunately they don't like cold weather so they were inside. she said "where monkeys go?" constantly when we went to where the monkeys were supposed to be. and she kept asking for the rest of the day. she's a silly girl!
