breakfast at grandmother's

every sunday my dad is in town, we try to have breakfast with my grandmother. we used to meet at this amazing bagel place, star bagel. my grandmother has had a few surgeries recently, so lately we have been picking up breakfast (from star bagel, of course) and taking it to grandmother's. it actually works out better because addison can run around and play and doesn't have to be confined to a highchair.

addison used to just eat a plain bagel, but now she has ventured out to a cinnamon raisin bagel. and she loves it. she can't take bites of the bagel because the outside is kind of tough, so i tear out the inside and she eats that. and she has been such a piggy lately. that morning she had a whole bagel, half of a blueberry muffin, and half of a nutrigrain bar.

addison is lucky he shared with her. i don't think he would have shared with me.

i'm glad i had my camera with me. i think all of those pictures are just so cute! i'm going to have to take my camera more often.

my new toy

yesterday i did something very exciting.

remember how i wrote the post i. am. obsessed? well, i really am.

especially now.

because i now have a mac!!

i saved up the money i was making on blogs and put it towards a new macbook!

yesterday my dad and i went to the apple store and i picked out one and bought it! there was a little trauma while trying to pay which involved me possibly almost crying (i get a little emotional sometimes), but everything worked out. and i now i have it!!

see, don't i look really happy??


i've been playing with it a lot and i'm still trying to figure some things out. i've been a pc girl my whole life so it may take a little adjusting. but so far i'm LOVING it!!


it's just so pretty. and addison loves playing with it too (all i let her do is look at herself in photobooth. she's not gentle at all so i don't really trust her doing anything else). expect to see a lot of goofy pictures of addison!!

stuck

yesterday i was cleaning up in the kitchen after addison ate lunch. she ran off into the other room, so i followed her a few minutes later. this is what i found. she was trying to get out, but i had to run and get my camera and take a few pictures before i got her out.


it's her bath seat. we used it for a while, but we don't use it any more. apparently she wanted a bath. if you look close, you can see where she took pooh and put him in there with her.





when i took her out, she immediately wanted to get right back in. it couldn't have been comfortable because she wasn't even sitting in it the right way. i don't know why she has so many toys because she usually just plays with things that aren't toys.

again??

i mean, really. how many times can i take pictures of addison in her cozy coupe? well, apparently lots and lots of times.

honestly, the only time she is still is when she's in there. she runs all over the place now so i can't get any pictures of her. but when she's in her cozy coupe, she stays still. for now at least. once she figures out how to make it go, she'll be moving a lot in that too. but for now, i'll take the opportunity to take lots of pictures while she's still...




i really don't know what she was looking up at. but it was cute.





and then she started screaming. not an upset scream. just a random, happy scream. you can see her mouth opening and closing...





and then lots of smiles :)




and getting in and out of the car...







thankfully she didn't throw a temper tantrum when it was time to go back inside. i got lucky. and i promise there will be some pictures of addison when she's not in the cozy coupe...i just don't know when that will be :)

fashion show

my mom bought addison some new clothes, and we decided to have a fashion show to see what we wanted to keep. and of course i took pictures!

well, i attempted to take pictures. addison was moving around so much. it was really hard to get good pictures of her. i took probably 100 pictures and these were the only good ones. but she is showing off her new clothes (oh, and she only tried on 3 outfits. she was done after that!)

she was trying to brush her hair for a little while. that's why her hand is a little blurry.



the next dress is my favorite. it's so cute with the ice cream cones!!



we aren't going to keep this one. it's really cute, but the shirt is too big and the material doesn't feel very good. she looked super cute in it though!



she loves toilet paper. and yes, that is a bra at her feet. she found it and was playing with it too. she's a strange little girl.


hopefully she'll be a little less rowdy next time we have a fashion show!
