i may have slacked a little with pictures. sometimes i just forget. oops!

monday

monday was one of my slacking days. addison had mdo and i hung out by the pool. i wanted to get as much sun as possible before class started on thursday.

tuesday


tuesday was a really busy day. addison and i went downtown to my school so i could get a parking pass. my friend maegen went with us, and my other friend amy met us there. amy is going to school there now too, but she's in the grad program. i showed her around a little bit while we were there, but it was so hot! my friend jenna met us all for lunch, and then all of us, minus amy, went to jenna's pool. after the pool, we went home. addison passed out on the way home and slept on me for about an hour. then when she finally got up, we went to mexican with my mom, jenna, and maegen. we went for the balloon lady, of course. but she wasn't there. we were all very disappointed.

wednesday


wednesday addison had school again. after i picked her up, we went and got ice cream from sonic. addison loves their cones, just like her mommy. she's a little messier than me, though.

thursday


thursday was my first day of class. it went really well! aside from me wanting to fall asleep in just about ever class. i'm not used to being up that early. unfortunately i'll have to get used to it again. that night jenna, maegen, and amy came over for jersday. yes, i have become obsessed with jersey shore. my friends are to blame. so now, every thursday, we get together for jersday and watch jersey shore and make drinks. it's quite fabulous, actually.

friday , addison and i went to a few yard sales with my mom. addison got a little horton elephant. after that, we took my mom's car through the car wash. addison loved that. she stayed with her daddy that night and maegen and i had a little girls night. we got chinese takeout and watched the proposal. i have a major major crush on ryan reynolds. major.

that was our fun filled, busy, exciting week!

monday


oh monday. addison and i ran some errands monday morning, which included going to michael's and target. when we were leaving target, addison was walking with me to the car. i was holding her hand, of course. she ended up falling, but i didn't realize it. so i ended up stepping on her foot. and i felt horrible. she got a pretty nasty boo boo, but she also got a new doctor kit from toys r us. and she got to wear cute hello kitty bandaids {after the initial fit of not wanting to wear a bandaid}. we went to firehouse for lunch after the incident {kids eat free on monday!!}. then she got a popsicle for dessert. she loves her little popsicles! and of course some playing before bed.

tuesday


tuesday wasn't too exciting. i was studying for my tests, so addison just chilled with me. we started the morning off playing with playdoh. none of which got eaten, i believe. she really liked when i made one of the sesame street characters and then she got to smush them. we took lunch to my mom and granny and then hung out for a while. and addison got some quality granny cuddle time.

wednesday

addison was with her daddy on wednesday, so i didn't get any pictures from that. i spent the afternoon by the pool studying before i had to go take my ethics final. so glad that's over!

thursday


thursday was a big study day. i had my income tax final that night, so i spent most of the day studying for that. addison was super helpful. she would bring me toy snacks and sit on my back while i studied. i actually really enjoyed that class. maybe i'll go into tax?? who knows. but, i'm also glad that is over.

friday


friday was so nice. i didn't have to worry about any school. amazing. addison and i played all morning. she read books to her babies before it was time for them to go to bed. she would "read" the books, which was hilarious. after each book, she'd say "goodnight!" and then she'd say "one more? ok!" and read another book. she's silly. then we went to play in the fountains after lunch. hendersonville is having some water issues, so the water smelt pretty bad. it has something to do with the heat and blue algae growing in it or something. but other kids were playing and addison didn't drink any, so i'm guessing it was fine. and we weren't there long. it was so hot. we got icees after, which were perfect for cooling us down. then we went to dinner with the fam. great end to the week!

oh ya, did you notice? i'm done with school! for the summer at least. woo hoo! here's too a few weeks school free!

monday morning addison and i went to pick up tickets for britney spears {!!!!!!!}. they went on groupon a few days before the concert for half off, so i scooped some up! but the catch was that you had to go pick them up at will call, where there was quite the line. totally worth it though! and addison made some new friends. we went to lunch at firehouse {where kids eat free on monday}. then it was britney time! there were 3 of us {me, my friend jenna, and my step-sis ali}. nicki minaj opened for her and she was really good. but i especially loved britney! i loved her when i was younger and still do. it was so so much fun!

tuesday, wednesday, and thursday

i slacked and have nothing from tuesday, wednesday, and thursday. i had projects due wednesday and thursday night, so that's all i was doing those days. which is definitely not picture worthy.

friday


friday we went to lunch, then on a little shopping spree. i've been going to the gap outlet so much these past few weeks. there was one in opry mills, which was kind of far away so i wouldn't go that often. and they didn't ever seem to have good things. but once opry flooded, the gap outlet store moved really close to me. not good. so, we went to return stuff and ended up spending more. but everything was on sale, and all the sale stuff was an extra 50% off. we got some good deals! we went to chickfila for dinner {where i ate chicken again. i gave in}. addison traded her toy in for some ice cream. i think that's a better deal because she never plays with the toy. addison has a new favorite thing to do, and it's fake laughing. it's really funny. oh, and after her bath last night, she was calling me girlfriend. like "hey girlfriend" and "look at me girlfriend!". i have no clue where she gets those things.

monday wasn't too exciting. honestly, i don't remember what all we did. i do know that it was hot. when we went out to run errands i felt like i sweated off about 10 lbs. we got icees after to make up for the weight we lost. that's my story, at least. it was my first icee of the summer. what took me so long to get one? i love those things!

tuesday was balloon animal day. i had to study for a test, so we just hung around the house all day until it was time to go eat mexican. my friend, jenna, joined us for the fun. addison got a monkey this time.

wednesday

wednesday was the day of my test, so i didn't really do much besides study. addison and i took a break and went to lunch with some of my friends. she loved that {and so did i}. they all went to the pool after, and while that was super tempting, i had to study more. boo school.

thursday


thursday was a long day. i went to the gym, then hit up the pool for a little while. we had lunch at chickfila and then we had a tour of a preschool. ugh. when did my baby get so big?? after that, i went to the bank to get a new debit card because someone stole the number of my other one and i had to cancel it. i was not happy about that. and then i had school. like i said, long day. oh, and i got britney spears tickets for monday. they were half off on groupon. cha-ching!

friday


friday was another fun filled day. addison and i were at the pool with some friends for a few hours. she didn't do so well at first, but after we had a lunch break she did great. she got ahold of my friends lipstick when we ran out for lunch, so that resulted in a funny mess. after we got home, addison passed out. she was still tired when it was time to get up from her nap, so we had some cuddles. then she got ice cream for dessert because she ate a good dinner {and she had a lot of ice cream}. she wanted to be a monster after her bath. so cute. "monsters go rawrrrrrrrr!"

monday


monday started out with addison double fisting her milk and water. she's a champ. she had swim lessons that afternoon. after her nap, we went to visit granny and addison insisted on pushing granny's wheelchair around her room.

tuesday


tuesday morning we had a crazy storm. it woke me up pretty early and i almost got in the closet to take cover. but i didn't. part of the tree in the front yard was down though :( addison had swim lessons again, and started to improve!! we made our weekly trip to the mexican restaurant, and this week addison decided to get a giraffe.

wednesday

well, i kind of slacked for wednesday. we didn't do anything too exciting. addison had swim lessons, and i went with her and my mom. she did so great! then i had class that night, so i didn't do anything thrilling.

thursday


thursday addison had to go to swim lessons twice since she was going to miss class on friday. so i took her to the morning class. she didn't do too hot. but she was great for the afternoon class {of course, the one i don't go to!} i had class and a big test that night, so i spent most of the afternoon studying. my mom sent me the second picture while i was in class. addison didn't want to nap so she decided to surround herself with her animals. that girl is a silly one.

friday

friday didn't really go the way i had planned/expected. addison left with her dad to go to savannah for the 4th. it's the first time addison has left, and the longest i've been away from her :( any way, a few hours after they left, chris called and said his car broke down in chattanooga. they were going to fix it, but it was going to be around 2 hours. i was just glad they were ok and were in the city so they could stop somewhere.

i got a call a little bit later, and they don't have the part they need. it won't come in for a week. that wasn't exactly going to work. so, i took my mom's car down to chattanooga {about 2 hours away} so chris could drive that down to savannah. my dad was going to come pick me up in chattanooga and drive me back.

well, the 2 hour drive down turned into around 3.5 hours because there was a really bad wreck and the interstate was closed at one point. needless to say, i got a little emotional. but i finally made it and got to see addison for a little bit. we all got a bite to eat and then chris and addison were off to savannah {7 hours later}. i wondered around hobby lobby and best buy until my dad and stepmom picked me up and then we headed home.

it was all worth it because addison is now having fun on the beach with her daddy. she's coming back tomorrow, though, and i can't wait!! i'm so excited to see her. but i may be a little jealous that she's tanner than me :)

monday was addison's first day of swim lessons. my mom took her, but i took her picture before she headed out. after, she got to hang out with her furry brother, tybee.

tuesday


tuesday addison went to swim lessons again. when we got back, we made a cute craft for my granny. when we headed to take it over to her, it looked quite nasty out. that night, we went to eat mexican at my favorite, dos margaritas. they have kids night on tuesdays. they have a woman go around to the tables and make balloon animals. this girl is ridiculously good. i wish i had her balloon making skills. we went a few weeks before and addison got a flamingo. this time she got a mermaid. yes, we'll be making this a weekly event.

wednesday


wednesday i only got a picture of ice cream face. addison and i had a lovely mother daughter lunch date. we went out for ice cream after and addison got all messy. good thing she's cute.

thursday


we ventured out to chickfila on thursday for lunch. addison wanted to bring it home, so we had to wait in a crazy long line. and i actually ate chicken (i haven't been eating meat since september. i've had maybe 2 things since. i'm not too serious about it, but i'm trying to stick with it). but, i had a craving for chickfila, so i got me some. i doubt i would have waited in that line if i wasn't dead set on getting some. and it was delicious.

friday


friday was the last day of swim class. i just got a picture of addison on our way. she was chillin with her hello kitty sunglasses on.

well that was fun! i'll try to do this every week from now on :)
