kelly over at kelly's korner does this thing called show us your life. she picks topics and every friday you write about the topic for that day! it's really fun! i don't participate in all of them, because i sometimes forget. but i thought this one would be fun!
as most of you know, i'm a stay at home mom and full time student. i'm so lucky that i get to be a stay at home mom!! i love spending my days with addison! i only have classes on tuesdays and thursdays, and i took some online classes too so i'm not on campus that much. it seems to make things a lot easier.
so, here's
on days when i don't have class...
8:00ish - i wake up.
8:30 - i wake addison up (sometimes she wakes up on her own, but if she's not awake by then, i get her up). she gets a diaper change.
8:45ish - addison eats breakfast and i clean a little in the kitchen.
9:00-10:30 - i turn the tv on to the disney channel and we play. addison usually gets worn out easily in the morning, so she's more than ready for nap time when it comes.
10:30-12:30 - addison takes her morning nap. i do homework/blog/design blogs/clean/fill in the blank.
12:45ish - addison eats lunch. change addison out of her pjs.
1:00-3:00 - play. i eat lunch. play. run arrands. play.
3:00ish-5:30 - addison takes her afternoon nap (sometimes. she's pretty good and will play in her crib for about an hour without crying. the past few days she's lasted the hour, then wants to get out without napping. hopefully she'll start napping again!). repeat what i did during her morning nap.
5:30 - i wake addison up and she has a snack.
6:00-7:30 - we play more (and i watch wheel of fortune at 6:30. hehe).
7:30 - addison gets a bath (every other night).
7:45 - addison eats dinner.
8:00ish - addison goes to bed.
8:30ish - i eat dinner, relax, and watch tv.
9:00-10:30ish - i do whatever i didn't get done during addison's naps.
10:30ish - my bed time.
on the days that i have class, i get up at 6:45. i don't have class until 9:35, but i like to have more than enough time to shower and get ready. i usually just play on the computer for a while, too, while i wake up.
-when my dad is in town, addison and i go out to lunch with him. she loves seeing him, and i do too! it's nice to get out of the house. addison loves going to busy restaurants so she can people watch. she's a nosey baby.
-i try to go to the gym twice a week. it doesn't actually happen sometimes, but i try!!
i'm kind of a freak about the schedule. just the nap parts. that's the only time i get to get stuff done, so i like to be home for her naps. the morning one is the one i'm most concerned about, because she (almost) always takes that one. the afternoon one can be missed.
so you have it! our schedule. exciting, right?

Ya have to love routine....I sure do....yours sounds alot like mine!
Oh I just love Sprout and the Disney Channel have to love that when you are trying to do the dishes LOL....
You are such a great mommy and juggling school too you rock girl!

I love having a routine too although here lately it hasn't been working out to well.. once they get a little older they think they do not have to take naps anymore :)...I have always been pretty strict about naps, I have never understood why some parents do not do naps! I would be crazy without some "ME" time. That is awesome that you are able to go to school and stay home with your little one! I was in school while raising my first son and I know it is not easy!! Hope you have a great weekend!
